Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Empira ("the app", "we") collects, how it is used, and your choices. We designed the app to collect as little personal information as possible.

What We Collect

Gameplay analytics. We collect anonymous gameplay events to improve the game's design and difficulty. This includes:

Random session identifiers (newly generated each time the app launches — not tied to you or your device)
Device model, iOS version, and app version
Gameplay events: level started, completed, failed, or quit; difficulty selected; time played; stars earned; achievements unlocked
In-app purchase events: which products were viewed, purchased, or cancelled

We do not collect your name, email, Apple ID, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. We do not create user accounts.

Advertising (Google AdMob). The app displays banner ads on the home and level select screens via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), with your permission
IP address (used for approximate location and fraud prevention)
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

On first launch, iOS will ask whether to allow tracking. If you decline, ads still show but are non-personalized. You can change this choice any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchases (Apple). In-app purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not see or store your payment information. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

How We Use It

To understand which levels are too easy or too difficult and rebalance them
To identify and fix bugs or crashes
To improve the store page and pricing
To display advertising (AdMob)

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as necessary to operate the services listed above (Google AdMob, Apple, our own analytics hosted on Cloudflare).

Data Retention

Analytics events are retained indefinitely for historical trend analysis. Because events are tied only to random per-session identifiers, they cannot be linked back to you.

Your Choices

Ads: disable personalized ads in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Analytics: because no personal identifier is collected, there is no individual data to access or delete. If you would like us to delete all analytics data from a specific time range, contact us and we will comply.
Delete the app: uninstalling removes all local game progress and preferences from your device

Children's Privacy

The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics we collect are anonymous and contain no personally identifying information regardless of the player's age.

International Users

EU / UK (GDPR): our legal basis for processing anonymous analytics is legitimate interest. You have the right to object to processing; contact us to do so.

California (CCPA): we do not "sell" personal information as defined by the CCPA.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, surface a notice in the app.
